I have never been a big fan of Applebees but it's definitely an okay spot for casual dining. I think it's the atmosphere that is not appealing to me but picking the right time to go is key. I wanted to try their new Bayou Cajun Shrimp bowl and I was pleasantly surprised! They hit the mark with this dish. The only small complaint I have is with the andouille sausages. The pieces were so small, I almost forgot it was included with the dish but what made up for it was the nice helping of shrimp. They do not skimp on this.
