My son wanted to stop at Portillo’s for dinner on the way to a TB Lightning game, and I am glad he did! The food was yummy. In fact, our family devoured the beef sandwich and chili dog before taking a picture - they were that good. The family pack of chicken tenders was ideal for us to share. The “sauce flight” was a clever and memorable idea, and the sauces were yummy! My daughter enjoyed a chocolate cake shake and my wife loved the traditional chocolate shake. Delish. We live about an hour south of here but every time we are near, we make Portillos a stop on the way home. The Italian beef sandwich, dipped, is superb. The hot dogs are amazing too. Grab yourself a schooner of Killian's red beer to wash it down and a chocolate shake for dessert.

Super delicious hotdog. My first time trying this combination and let me tell you….. I LOVED IT. I was super impressed to find salt and pepper on the tomato slice, which is so important. I kind of thought I was the only one to know about the importance of salting a tomato. Can’t wait to try a few more menu items.
