Firstly, the service was fantastic! He was very nice and recommended great food; he was also chatty, which was great for us. Secondly, the food was absolutely amazing! The pie was beautifully prepared and tasted wonderful, and the beef was cooked perfectly. The burger was the best my friend has ever had; it was massive and totally worth the price. We stopped in to have a pint a couple times, so I can't speak to the food. The service is great and the staff is very welcoming. This is a great place to watch sports as they have TV's everywhere and even have a board next to the bar the tells the schedule for up coming sporting events. They also have a massive whiskey collection. I am sure you can find your favorite! The only reason I give them four stars is due to how warm it is inside. I'm not sure why this is as the two days we stopped in the temps were not that warm. If you want a pint and watch some sports, this is the place.

Went for a lovely Christmas dinner with the family. Absolutely delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff. We had a wonderful time! Very cosy atmosphere. Perfect way to celebrate Christmas. We got the set 3 course meal which included, soup, main course and dessert. Everything was delicious. We had a wonderful time tonight.

This was my first experience in Scotland, so I don't have much to compare it to. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable (especially regarding the whisky tasting) . The Haggis, neeps and tatties were delicious, as well as the raspberry cheesecake. Most of all, the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming.
