Went for a coffee last Saturday. Waited in a queue for over 25 minutes, but could be more. Some people were less patient and walked out. The lady in front of me even got her book out and must have read a chapter. The only reason I waited was I had a free coffee and wanted to claim it. The poor guy behind the counter was slogging it out, but he was so polite and doing a great job. The problem then presented itself when he apologised and said he will be back. He then came back followed by a really spikey aggressive young female who was obviously meant to be helping him. It wasn't until then,

Unusually for what is normally a great coffee shop today we received terrible service. I Ordered an ordinary latte and received an iced latte. I said I had wanted a normal hot latte to be told no I didn’t and do I expect her to do about. In addition the door way had a strong smell of stagnant water

Busy but very nice atmosphere. Central location and mostly full of students and they unusually well behaved 😂. Two floor cafe offering usual tea, coffee and sandwiches stuff. Cafe Nero coffee is better then other cafes and always go for melt tuna sandwich. Plenty of seating on ground floor as well as 2nd floor. Nice view from upper floor. Service was good with smile even they were busy. Toilets clean and tidy.

Hoped to have a nice breakfast at around 9 o’clock but was disappointed. The baskets to the front were empty and I was asked to go and look to see if they had any tea cakes, as the staff didn’t know. The cake cabinet was so misted with condensation, I couldn’t see what was inside. The cappuccino coffee was fine if on the weak side. Selected a pain au raisin pastry which was undercooked. The ladies toilet needed a good clean, just seemed rather dingy and certainly not spotless by any means. One benefit was that some tables, along the walls, had power points for charging phones, etc.
